C-003 - 12 oz - indigo sashiko canvas
from Kawa Company, Japan
1 × 50 cm = 50 cm Gesamtlänge
This 12 oz canvas impresses with a striking, sashiko-like structure and a distinctly raised surface. The dark blue fabric has a distinctive texture, yet remains pleasantly flexible and soft to the touch.
With its generous fabric width of 148 cm, it offers versatile applications. It is ideally suited for shirts, jackets, chinos, skirts, or even light coats. The combination of stability and flexibility makes it a distinctive material for durable yet comfortable garments.
The last photo exemplifies the natural development of the fabric over a longer period of wear – the forest green color and the subtle structure develop an individual, vibrant patina.

Please do not wash the denim before processing. As an unwashed "raw selvage" fabric, it only develops its characteristic structure and fit through wear.
Wash the finished garment only after it is completely sewn. The respective shrinkage values for length and width should therefore be taken into account during pattern construction and size planning.
