This 12 oz selvage denim from Japan is made by Nihon Menpu in Ibara and features a lighter red with a clear, striking color effect. The slightly textured surface gives the fabric subtle depth, while the pleasant feel ensures a comfortable wearing experience.
In its new condition, the denim is shape-retaining yet supple. With continued wear, the fabric develops a soft feel and an individual patina without losing its clear color effect.
Thanks to its balanced weight, the fabric is ideal for jeans, jackets, overshirts, or skirts where color, texture, and wearing comfort are paramount. A size 90 jeans needle is recommended for sewing.
