S-072 - 6 oz - checked indigo selvage chambray
white/red selvage line - from Nihonmenpu, Japan
1 × 50 cm = 50 cm Gesamtlänge
This 6 oz indigo selvage denim is made by Nihon Menpu in Ibara and features an understated blue check pattern that gives the fabric a subtle texture without making the surface look busy.
With a width of 112 cm, the fabric is ideal for summer shirts, overshirts, or wide-leg trousers. Thanks to its lightweight 6 oz construction, it is also perfect for lining jackets or blazers where freedom of movement and a comfortable feel are essential.
The fabric is soft and supple and can easily be sewn on standard household sewing machines. A universal or denim needle in size 70–80 is recommended; when sewing multi-layered flat-felled seams, the sewing speed should be reduced to achieve precise, clean stitching.
The final photo illustrates how the fabric develops naturally—the fine check pattern remains subtly visible, giving the material a calm, distinctive finish.

Please do not wash the denim before processing. As unwashed "raw selvage," the fabric only develops its characteristic structure and fit through wear.
Wash the finished garment only after complete assembly. The respective length and width shrinkage values should therefore be taken into account during pattern making and sizing planning.
