S-073 - 6 oz - gemustertes Indigo-Selvage-Chambray
white/red selvage line - from Nihonmenpu, Japan
1 × 50 cm = 50 cm Gesamtlänge
This 6 oz indigo selvage denim is made by Nihon Menpu in Ibara and features a subtle staircase pattern that gives the fabric a dynamic, textured look without making the surface appear busy.
With a width of 112 cm, the fabric is ideal for summer shirts, overshirts, or wide-leg trousers. Its lightweight 6 oz weight also makes it perfect for lining jackets or blazers, where freedom of movement and comfort are essential.
The surface is soft and supple, and the material can easily be sewn on standard household sewing machines. A universal or denim needle in size 70–80 is recommended; when sewing multi-layered flat-felled seams, the sewing speed should be reduced to achieve precise, clean seams.
The final photo illustrates the natural development of the fabric – the staircase pattern remains subtly visible and gives the material an elegant, distinctive finish.

Please do not wash the denim before processing. As unwashed "raw selvage," the fabric only develops its characteristic structure and fit through wear.
Wash the finished garment only after complete assembly. The respective length and width shrinkage values should therefore be taken into account during pattern making and sizing planning.
