S-060 - 13.5 oz - indigo selvage denim
beige/red selvage line - from Nihonmenpu, Japan
1 × 50 cm = 50 cm Gesamtlänge
This 13.5 oz selvage denim is made by Nihon Menpu in Ibara and is characterized by an intense canvas weave structure. Despite the clearly visible weave, it remains classic denim, distinguished by its durability and authenticity.
The underside of the fabric shows a warm beige tone, which is also reflected in the red-and-white selvage and gives the material a special, natural touch. In its new condition, the denim is textured and firm, but develops a pleasant softness with wear while retaining its distinctive canvas structure.
Thanks to its 12.5 oz weight, the fabric is ideal for jeans, jackets, overshirts, or accessories that are meant to showcase structure and character. A jeans needle with a thickness of 90–100 is recommended; when sewing multi-layered flat-felled seams, the sewing speed should be reduced to achieve precise seams.
The last photo shows an example of the fabric's natural development – the intense canvas structure combined with the warm beige underside develops a vibrant, distinctive patina that underscores the premium character of this denim.

Please do not wash the denim before processing. As unwashed "raw selvage," the fabric only develops its characteristic structure and fit through wear.
Wash the finished garment only after complete assembly. The respective length and width shrinkage values should therefore be taken into account during pattern making and sizing planning.
