This 6 oz indigo selvage denim is made by Nihon Menpu in Ibara and stands out with its striking horizontally woven herringbone pattern. The high-contrast indigo dyeing gives the fabric a vibrant, dynamic appearance.
The texture is pronounced, but the lighter weight gives the fabric an overall fine and airy feel. In its new condition, the denim is crisp, but develops a pleasant softness with wear, while the herringbone pattern remains clearly visible.
At 6 oz, this denim is particularly suitable for lightweight overshirts, shirts, dresses, skirts, or as a lining for jackets or blazers—anywhere a distinctive pattern is desired with reduced weight.
