The Jeans Starter Set 1 contains the right amount of material to make a complete pair of jeans.
It includes 12 oz selvage denim from Nihonmenpu, which is solid, fairly fluid, and durable. For pockets and interior work, it includes 8 oz broken twill from Nihon Menpu, which adds a subtle accent with its understated texture.
The set is rounded out by cotton thread from Germany in copper and rust brown tones, suitable for classic jeans seams and flat-felled seams.
The set thus represents a harmonious combination of outer fabric, inner lining, and thread, and offers all the basic materials for making a pair of jeans in a practical quantity.
